La Touquet has some fab windmills .. it is just like being in Telly Tubbyland .. rolling rich green hills with the fabulous wind farm. Very unexpected they just appear !!

That sounds like fun – I’ve never been up close when it’s really howling. I’m guessing they turn the blades away when it get’s too lairy…

i saw a ‘wind farm’ near Palm Springs, California on my last business trip – and was mesmerized! Would have love to see the windmills going full tilt (see what i did there?) during a nice 40kt Santa Ana windstorm…
