Monday morning…

…and I’m sitting in a traffic jam on the London Orbital. I’m surrounded by a sea of small metal boxes on rubber wheels containing thousands of different minds wandering in a million different directions. Reciting ‘to do lists’ before the important meeting after lunch or wondering if Mr Smitherington will notice my arse this afternoon at tea break. Will little Timmy get his own back on that big girl that pushed him off his scooter? I hope Strictly Come Dancing recorded all right – I can’t wait to see who got kicked out…

Why does the DJ on radio 2 sound like he’s stuck in traffic too…?

There are many things I miss about sunny Inglaterra but I’m not sure I miss the M25.

I didn’t surf today. Next week…
