Down the line
Duckdiving. Named after the well-renowned aquatic bird ‘the duck’. You are nothing like this animal. You are not sleek, graceful and at ease in the water. You are on a board the size of an aircraft carrier and stand about as much chance of ‘ducking’ it as you do of getting a 360 backside aerial out of it. The best you can hope for is to paddle as fast as you can toward the oncoming wave and punch through the face. This will no doubt result in pain, misery and sinus issues but worth a try nonetheless…

I hate the turtle. Always manage to tweak a shoulder…
DP – sometimes you’re like a real dad.
Nmm – I got on my 7 foot ‘magic carpet’ last week for the first time in a couple of years. Was great fun – I shall be doing it again…
I’ll admit….I had to cheat & look up the ‘magic carpet’. Looks similar to the ‘Spherical Revolver’. Definitely do it again…..
7′ long, 22″ wide and nearly 3″ thick in the middle. Big round nose and a rounded pintail currently sporting a 9″ seafin. Originally designed by Kevin ‘magic feet’ Connelly – paddles like a longboard but more carve and less tail turning. If you’re quick you can get a cheeky ten off the nose! Very nice…
You speak almost fluent alien now, don’t you?
It’s the ironing board for me – and you know I haven’t used that since the summer of 2005.
Damn….that’s a fat girl. Sounds fun…
